As you might have noticed, I'm doing a much-needed overhaul of the layout of my blog. Hopefully the final outcome will be a more aesthetically pleasing website than my previously all-black design. I should have it done in the next day or so. Hope you like it!

Blogging Error

For those of you following my blog via Google Reader, you've probably noticed by now that I prematurely posted my third installment in the "Faith, Hope, and Obama" series. Essentially, it's the same post from "Part 2." Hopefully I'll get a chance to actually write the third installment in the next few days, although there's much to do here and my time is running short. Anyway, my apologies....

While I'm Gone...

Since I'll be gone for the next few weeks in Tanzania, likely without any internet access, I decided to schedule several blog entries to post while I am gone. In fact, there should be one new update each day while I'm gone. Many of these blog entries will revolve around my experiences in Zimbabwe, as well as things I have been learning while here in Africa. So, the point is, don't check out while I'm gone! Stay tuned for lots more pictures and updates from my experiences in Africa!

Still Alive and Kickin' It

By now, you might be wondering, Is MaxAC still alive? Fortunately, the answer is: Yes, I'm alive, and living life to the max! Here's what I've been up to recently:

• going to a lot of youth sporting events
• teaching a Spanish class (more on this later)
• dealing with some drama in the youth group (of the teenage girl variety...my favorite!)
• not sleeping enough
• trying to keep up with my new house
• leading an awesome student leadership team
• spending lots of time with my girl
• preparing for a long trip overseas (more on this later, as well)
• not blogging

Life never stops, but unfortunately sometimes blogging does stop. However, there is much to share, so look for more from MaxAC in the near future!!!
